Zest Fine Foods scooped the enviable prize of Highly Commended New Business of the Year at the recent Bolton & Bury Business Awards Dinner held at the premiere Suite of the Reebok Stadium.

The event was attended by over 500 guests including the employee team of Zest fine Foods.

"This is a fantastic achievment in such a short space of time, we have been open for less than 6 months and to win this at such an early stage of the company's evolution is beyond all our wildest dreams" said manageress Laura Splaine, she went on to say that "this has been won in the face of stiff competition and during the toughest recession this country has known since the second world war and so it makes it all the more precious and is a tribute to all of the staff and the loyal customers that have made it possible"

Zest Fine Foods only started its business in December of last year and is Bolton's first destination food store to provide eat-in facilities & Coffee shop, out side catering, cookery school - headed up by Mike Harrison the well known Bolton celebrety chef, "dinner parties in a box", board room lunches, conference facilities and of course a fully stocked delicatessen.

The company is soon to start a new stage in its evolution by building a decking to the rear, so that its customers can sit and savour the tranquility of Doffcocker Lodge whilst enjoying the produce from inside the delicatessen.

Good Luck for the coming months.
